Sometimes choosing a suitable place to land isn't that easy, but if you want to fly cross country you can't be so choosy. This time I had to land between a high and medium voltage overhead line
To say it straight away, the yellow angel didn't appear to me to help with a breakdown.
It is always reported in various trade magazines and YouTube videos that the Pinzgauer walk is just a walk, but it is not made that easy.
It should be clear that lines are generally not the friend of paragliders. But overhead lines in particular pose a special danger, especially when they are as common as they are here in the Zillertal.
A flight from Brauneck to Kössen is a dream for many. But the wide Inn valley with its strong valley wind is a real hurdle. That's how it should be on my first attempt to fly to Kössen.
