Austro Control — New Home Briefing; Neverending Summer Festival; Adrenalina Hike & Fly Competition; Pinzgau Retro Meet-up and Precision Landing Competition
Austro Control has announced plans to revamp its Homebriefing website. Although the website is actually intended for powered flight, it does contain a lot of important information and tools for us paragliders, which will be useful for anyone flying in or near Austria. The new website is due to go live in spring 2027.
The Neverending Summer Festival takes place at Lake Garda from 8 to 11 October. In the words of a fellow club member: “There’s always a lot going on, which is great for networking and meeting people. For some, though, it might be a bit too hectic when landing.” The Adrenalina Hike & Fly competition is taking place at the same time.
In the video, Markus showcases part of his collection of vintage paragliders. Markus owns 32 of these gliders from the early days of our sport. Some of them are even still airworthy after having their lines replaced.
