52e Coupe Icare (2025) – After Movie
The 52nd Coupe Icare is barely over and there are already videos on YouTube. I was there myself for the first time and was impressed by the festival atmosphere.
Taking to the skies at the age of 95 – Grandma from Erding dares a paragliding adventure
It is now a truism that paragliding is not a question of age, but rather of physical fitness. But at the age of 95, even if only as a guest in tandem, it is quite extraordinary. Lotte took the plunge and enjoyed it, even if she did suffer minor injuries on landing.
Climb and Fly Mönch 4107 metres | Solo over the extreme south-east ridge Markus Gaviao
Markus Gaviao is once again attracting attention with his extraordinary hike-and-flys (e.g. on Mont Blanc). His ascent of the Mönch was certainly not a particular challenge for him in terms of mountaineering, but the last section over the south-east ridge, which slopes extremely steeply on both sides, was a courageous feat.
4 days bivouac flying in the Puster Valley
Bivouac flying is a special variant of our sport. Ralf, a club colleague, is one of the people who did a good job of filming it. I particularly liked the intro.
Red Bull X-Alps 2025: Battle of legends – Documentary Trailer
One film we can look forward to next month is an in-depth documentary about the X-Alps. A trailer for the film has already been released.
